The Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people. All family members get together on New Year'Eve to have a big meal. At about 12 o'clock , some parents and children light
crackers. The whole sky is lighted brightly.
Strictly speaking, the Spring Festival starts every year in the early days of the 12th lunar month and will last till the mid 1st lunar month of the next year. But now, the Chinese government stipulates people have seve n days off for the Chin ese Lunar New Year.
Many customs accompa ny the Spring Festival. Some are still followed today, but others have weake ned. The 23 rd day of the 12th lunar mon th is called Prelimi nary Eve. At this time, people offer sacrifice to the kitche n god. Now however, most families make delicious food to enjoy themselves.

What is the most important thing in the world? I think it is health.
That is why we always try to eat in a healthy way and exercise regularly.
In order to eat healthily, I usually avoid eati ng food high in fat, like French fries or cookies. I also eat little meat. I eat a lot of vegetables and fresh fruit which are full of vitamins.
Tak ing exercise every day helps us build a strong body. Regular exercise is an importa nt part of keep ing me healthy.
What's more, I think friends are an important part of one's health.
By spending time with my friends, I can keep my mind as well as my body happy.
